What Makes a Great Teacher
A great teacher…..
- Is someone who looks forward to waking up everyday and strives to reach out to each and every student, no matter how hard it may be.
- Makes a difference in his/her student’s lives, whether that day or 20 years down the line.
- Puts heart and soul into everything that he/she teaches.
- Spends all the extra time needed to help the students understand the material.
- Listens.
- Is a role model for the students.
- Seeks to learn more about the subject and learn new learning methods.
- Helps the students by being there as a mentor figure.
- Believe in all of his/her students and challenges them to learn.
- Is there every step of the way.
- Shares and passes his/her passion for learning onto the students.
- Never gives up.
- Respects the students and in turn receives respect.
- Loves everything about the content he/she is teaching.
- Creates a fun and active learning environment.
