LESSON 11 – LISTENING WITH VOCABULARY
We are going to switch it up this lesson. I am taking vocabulary from the episodes we have seen up to now to create 5 completely different stories. I have used AI to then turn my stories into audio. Please challenge yourself in different ways with the following audio.
Options to practice your listening:
- Transcribe what you hear. Copy the Spanish you hear. Next translate it to your first language. Look up words you did not know. Highlight expressions or vocabulary you want to remember.
- Take notes jotting down what you understood. Jot down vocabulary and expressions you would like to remember.
Options to practice your speaking (which in turn helps your listening):
- Mimic the speaker. Try to sound just like him/her.
- Retell the story in your own words. Summarize.
